Photo Notes: I continue to be impressed by the Nikon D800, and landscape is clearly its forte. I processed this in Lightroom 5 and Color Efex Pro, and it seemed like this shot just had more and more microcontrast to reveal. Perhaps I went too far; it almost looks a little HDR-y. Still, it felt like the well-lit scene was super contrasty when I was there, far contrastier than the RAW file.
