Fantastic. I’d love to see the exhibit.

Ah, that’s too bad. That said, I almost broke down and bought the Series 3 when it debuted—I love the white ceramic model—but thought that I’d wait another generation since my “Series 0” is still working fine. This update sounds great, so I’ll likely upgrade when the inevitable Series 4 (or whatever they call it) debuts later this year.

Holy cow, look at this thing. I wish we’d see something remotely as exciting on the Mac platform from Apple. I mean, it’s not like I really think this is something I’d ever have a use for, but man, is it cool, except for the Windows part. (Aside: does anyone’s Skype call really look like that? All of mine have a ten-year-old profile photo of someone at best, and usually just their initials in a big colored box. No one I’ve encountered ever uses video like that on a business call IRL. No doubt it looks great, though.)

Bryan Bishop, writing for The Verge:
“But like its title character pulling off a crazy scheme just in the nick of time, Solo is a swashbuckling success, a space adventure that pays homage to the DNA of the original films while carving out its own unique space in the canon. It’s a sheer delight, but it also has the courage to explore the darker aspects of a character who could have all too easily been polished to an inoffensive, family-friendly Disney sheen. Solo represents the most refined iteration yet of the new Disney / Lucasfilm formula — and cements longtime series screenwriter Lawrence Kasdan’s place as the defining voice of the Star Wars universe.”
I can’t believe how relieving it is to read that.

SmugMug acquired Flickr, which can only be a good thing. Now the last thing I used Yahoo for is wrested from their control!
