What I’m saying is, if the next new Mac to be announced is a faster Mac mini or an upgraded 13-inch MacBook Pro, I’m going to treat them fairly and evaluate them properly… and the entire time, I am going to be grumbling. Because what I want is a new big iMac.
I agree with a lot of this, except the part where he says, “Don’t make it too big.” I’m not sure there’s any chance that they can realistically make it too big for me. Ideally, I’d love to see something along the lines of the Pro Display XDR—32", 6K resolution, but without the other characteristics that focus that display for video professionals doing color correction, etc. I never bought the $6,000 Pro Display XDR mostly because its price was to justify qualities that I don’t need, but I absolutely want the basics that it provides: a big, bright, high-resolution display.
